North Shore NEMBA May 1st, 2008 meeting - minutes

Held at Riverside Cycles in Newburyport

Attendees: Steve Charrette, Kirk Goldsworthy, Lee Hollenbeck, Jim Humphrey, Hank Kells, Frank Lane, Ray DeMarquez, Dave McCrimmon, Scott Merloni, Dan Streeter, Fred White, members of Riverside Cycles ride group and staff

Thanked Dave and Riverside Cycles for hosting our meeting, supporting NEMBA through corporate membership, and supporting mountain biking on the North Shore

Approved Minutes from November 2007 meeting

Treasurer’s Report:

No treasurer’s report this time.

2008 Trail Days:

Completed installing/upgrading bridges at Harold Parker in Lorraine Campground area

- Since this meeting, NS members also participated in work at Essex Country (ECGA) Tompson Reservation as well and built a new trail on ECGA property at Willowdale Meadows

Work for rest of year can be seen on website (http://www.nsnemba.org/TrailWork.htm )

Wicked Ride coordinator:

Steve Charrette and Dave McCrimmon are new WR coordinators now that Sandy Bray has departed for Denver

Rides

· Thursday night rides (advanced intermediate) coordinated by Scott Merloni

· Monday night beginner rides led by Fred White and Frank Lane

Donations

§ Frank noted that $250 donations were made to ECGA and Trustees of Reservations, as agreed at November meeting

o ECGA sent NEMBA’s nice letter thanking us for donation
