Trails We Ride
Responsible riding tips from IMBA
Harold Parker State Forest
Location: Primarily located in the Massachusetts' towns of Andover and North Andover with small portions extending into the bordering towns of North Reading and Middleton.
Description: Harold Parker offers many miles of trails for mountain bikers of all abilities.  The forest contains about twenty miles of moderately technical single track that should appeal to a cross-country rider.  There are also many miles of fire roads that offer  less demanding, more leisurely riding.  Finding and linking together the single track can be a bit confusing.  Joining a group ride is probably the best way to become familiar with the forest.  Our chapter hosts a regular Thursday evening ride in Harold Parker.  Group rides are also frequently posted on the NEMBA and Rage forums.
